John Caddell has finally realized that his left and right brains are the
property of the same person.
For more than twenty years, he worked for companies in the telecom
industry, developing, marketing and implementing IT solutions, including
end-user and interconnect billing, CRM, and mediation. He has worked both
for telecom operators and their suppliers.
John has specialized in wireless telecommunications since 1992, working
with companies such as EDS and LHS Group to provide solutions to some
of the global mobile industry's pioneers, such as AirTouch
Communications, Hong Kong Telecom and Sprint Cellular, and upstarts
such as KDDI Mobile (USA) and Working Assets Wireless.
Prior to starting his own consulting practice, he spent six years as a
corporate officer, fulfilling executive roles in sales, P&L management,
account management, product development and strategic marketing.
In his other life, John published short fiction in small literary journals, and
spent four years on the editorial board of Fish Stories, a literary annual that
published noted authors such as Tobias Wolff and Peter Ho Davies and that
was anthologized in the Best American Short Stories 1995.
Now, in his work at Caddell Insight Group, John combines his experience
and his passion to deliver highly creative solutions to the issues of attracting
and retaining customers, innovation management and new product
development for companies worldwide.
John has written many articles for the telecommunications trade press, and
is a frequent speaker at seminars and conferences.
He received a B.S. degree magna cum laude from Rensselaer Polytechnic
Institute in computer & systems engineering and an M.B.A. with high honors
from Boston University.
